Finally, Katrina Kaif is Talking!Model-turned-Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who will be recording her own dialogues for the first time in Hindi films, says that it took some effort to get the accent right, news reports said.London-born Kaif also lost some weight to get the right look for her modern character in her new film "Namaste London. "I also get to say my own dialogues, though it has taken some time,'' Kaif was quoted as saying.Dialogues for most Bollywood movies are dubbed, or recorded separately and film makers often use voiceover artists for actors who are unable to emote their own lines.Kaif, who has a British mother and an Indian father, worked as a model in London and India before she made her Bollywood debut in 2003.After a couple of brief supporting parts in Bollywood movies, Kaif has begun playing lead roles. Her last major releases were "Humko Deewana Kar Gaye'' and "Sarkar'' . She has also starred in Telugu and Tamil-language films.

Not long ago, Katrina was labeled as “a silent beauty” because she could not speak fluent Hindi and therefore got her dialogues dubbed in movies. Critics also claimed that she did not know how to act and that she had an expressionless face.
Though Katrina has been part of successful films like Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya and Sarkar , her roles in these films were not big enough for her to take much credit for the movie’s good run. But in ‘Namastey London’ she shares equal footage as the movie’s hero Akshay Kumar.
And now, filmmaker Subhash Ghai has signed Katrina for his next film titled Main Yuvraj . The film will have three heroes: Salman Khan , Anil Kapoor and Zayed Khan .

Katrina Kaif signs her biggest deal for Rs. 1 crore ($220,000).
Katrina’s career may be going great guns, as she has six movies in hand, but her biggest signing amount has this time come from down South. Kat has just signed a movie opposite Tamil Superstar Vikram of Anniyan fame; the movie is being directed by Susi Ganesan and produced by Tahanu.

A source close to the actress says, "Katrina brags about her Salman connection very often. In fact, Salman has been encouraging her to do so. Be it problems with her costumes or if she is asked to wait around, she just picks up the phone and complains to Salman."
Recently, when Katrina complained about her ill-fitting costumes on a film set, a designer blamed it on the flab that she has acquired of late. This naturally upset Katrina. She burst into tears and made a frantic call to her boyfriend. Some time later, Salman landed up on the sets and gave an earful to the designer.
In the recent past, there have been instances where unit members have incurred the wrath of the actor because Katrina felt that she has not been treated 'well enough'.

Sometime back Katrina was doing a scene for this film and there was a huge controversey as she entered a dargah with a skirt that displayed her legs,now the filmmakers have been asked to delete that scene from the film and re-do it.However now it seems another controversey has come along Katrina's way.According to some sources,Katrina Kaif gave her co-star newcomer shaana Diya enormous stress while doing the film.In the film Shaana and Katrina play best friends, however off-screen it seems Katrina was anything but friendly with the newcomer.
According to sources Katrina behaved really badly with Shaana on the sets of Namastey London while working with her,she would often throw tantrums and Shaana was invariably at the receiving end of these tantrums.Katrina often bullied the newcomer and tried to get her way. A source adds "Katrina would throw a fit over petty issues and once Katrina sent Shaana back to change her lipstick shade only because it was similar to hers.On several occassions she gave Shaana a lot of grief." Shaana is a newcomer and hence does not want to get drawn into controversies, so at first she just talks about the wonderful experience of shooting with her co-stars Akshay,Upen etc.However she does not mention Katrina's name among those she had fun with but later adds that Katrina and she weren't the best of friends. Career
Katrina began her career as a model and then turned to acting, unfortunately her first film Boom was a complete disaster at the box-office. However Katrina managed to make a comeback with her films Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya starring Salman and in Ramgopal Varma’s Sarkar. Katrina’s film career has just begun and her recent film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye starring Akshay Kumar won her decent reviews for her performance in the film. Recently a diehard fan attempted to meet his idol,Salman Khan personally.The 25 year old youth and his friends tried to barge into Salman's building and meet the actor.The lad Ajay Giri was also a bit drunk and hence got into a scuffle when he was stopped by the building security personnel.Ajay threw a huge tantrum on not being allowed to visit the actor and in the ensuing scuffle Salman's postbox was ruined.However the lad got lucky when he found several of Salman's cell phone bills fall from the broken postbox. Since then the youth has been harassing Salman with constant calls on his cell,but when Salman refused to pick up the unknown number,he switched to calling and smsing Salman's girl Katrina Kaif. The youth often used abusive language when he spoke or messaged Katrina.When Ajay refused to stop his lewd calls and messages to Katrina,the actress propmtly informed her beau Salman.An upset Salman tried to set the lad straight when he called up but to no avail and hence he decided to register a non-cognizable offense with the police.Zonal DCP Vinaykumar Choubey confirmed this saying "Katrina received a call on her cellphone and Khan answered it.The person on the line used abusive language following which an argument ensed between the two.The caller also issued threats to Katrina and hence the two stars approached us with a written application.An NC has been lodged."The youth,Ajay who has been harassing Salman and Katrina already has a criminal record of theft and has also been known to often get girl's phone numbers and message them lewd text.After the complaint lodged by Salman, the lad has been detained by the police.Well knowing Salman's temper,it is indeed a surprise that he didn't hunt down the guy and give him a taste of his infamous blows.

Background
Katrina was born and brought up in London to an NRI Father and a British Mother. Her father is originally from Kashmir. When she was doing modelling in London, she came to the notice of filmmaker Kaizad Gustad and snapped an important role in his film 'Boom' .With her gorgeous face and hourglass figure, Katrina was flooded with modelling assignments in Mumbai.
